Haki Ammi with Educator Akil Parker and Coppin Univ Students Play Black ...

National Portal Article

When we study the many greats speakers, teachers, workers, organizers and thinkers who have achieved various levels of success Many think of Frederick Douglass, Malcolm X, Reginald F. Lewis, Barack Obama and many more.  These are all who our young people have to look up to since many young African American men in this society may not have examples of Black men in their homes.  Haki Ammi the Success Scholar hails out of Baltimore, MD.  Being born and raised in Baltimore could be and have been a blessing and a curse for me.  Not knowing many of these great thinkers the most one may be exposed to is the Black History month favorites that we hear and read about.

Haki Ammi is the Best Selling Author of Mission Unstoppable Extraordinary Stories of Failures Blessings a Best Selling Co Authored book with Les Brown and Dr. George C. Fraser.  This didn't come without struggle.  Around age 17 I almost lost my life over Baltimore street foolishness.  The lesson that I learned from this was to never allow for someone to dictate the circumference of your mind and your association.
After this life changing event I realized that things were rather serious and I needed not stay in the same place with the same mindset.  As I reflected how sometimes one must get away from an environment in order to change.  That has been one of my mantle to transform.  You see some people can change just through their mindset while others need a physical change.  I opted to physically change since I thought I didn't have the strength to change my mindset at that time.  I opted to go in the U.S. Navy.
While in the navy I discovered that there still was yet another level to achieve.  Just having a job or a "good government" job is not the absolute standard bearer for my destiny.  So what does one need to get to another level via wealth, employment or career?  You need knowledge.  I didn't just accept what some thought for me was "a better life" or a "good job".   I always wanted more so in order to create more you must take action.  I took action with knowledge.  From age 20 to 31 I read 100 books a year for 11 years.  This may not sound great to many of my Super Empowered National Portal Readers though when I learned another great Trainer and Speaker Tony Robbins read 100 books a year for 7 years I realized I was onto something.
Entrepreneurship has always been in my spirit.  I've always felt I could overcome my life challenges though sometimes you don't know what you don't know.  Therefore, Not only do I encourage reading though we also must attend conferences, workshops and watch educational shows and create multiple cash flows.
After being involved with several Network Marketing Companies the training has been awesome.  I realized though that being Conscious and coming from a History of Economic inequalities that are real I needed to have a Cultural and Historic lens of how I got where I am and where I am going.
Attending the Powernetworking Conferences for the past 4 years I was able to hear the best and brightest entrepreneurs in the country.  By Co Authoring a Best Selling Book with Les Brown and Dr. George C. Fraser I realized that I have an even brighter future if I execute to a higher level.  Currently I Co Host a radio show each and every monday 8 to 9 PM EST. on www.elifemedia.net   I'm speaking more and more while hosting monthly workshops.  Looking forward to connecting with many amazing viewers and readers of the National Portal.
